Offering a scalable, affordable platform, iCubate offers accurate testing for labs of any size.

Position Summary

iCubate is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assist with the production of the company's product line of FDA-cleared and Research-Use instruments for domestic and international sales. The selected Manufacturing Technician will work as an assembler and/or test engineer running automated and/or manual test equipment. Additionally, the Manufacturing Technician will be a member of the engineering group and will work closely with hardware engineers, regulatory and Quality Assurance personnel. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.

This is a temporary position with a timeline of approximately 6-9 months.

 

Education and experience qualifications

  • Required: Associate's Degree in Engineering or an engineering-related field
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an engineering-related field
  • Required: 3 years in a mechanical/electrical engineering field
  • Required: 2 years experience working within a Quality Assurance system
  • Required: 3 years experience assembling products by hand and with manufacturing tools
  • Required: 3 years experience working with detailed standard operating procedures, assembly instructions and test procedures, within a Quality Assurance system
  • Required: proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint

 

Professional qualities

  • Organizational skills, including but not limited to multi-tasking, time management, adherence to set priorities, with the goal of increasing productivity for the overall company
  • Meticulous care for precision in record keeping and documentation
  • Aptitude to clearly communicate through written and oral means
  • Disciplined approach to complete tasks under specific timelines and deadlines

 

Additional items of note

  • Willingness to occasionally work flexible days and hours
  • Perform other duties as assigned
