About iCubate:

iCubate® (iCubate.com) is a molecular diagnostic company with a novel armPCR technology and integrated platform for automated sample preparation, amplification and detection for infectious disease diagnostics and research applications. iCubate is a resident associate company of the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.

iCubate is seeking a seasoned, success-oriented Sales Representative. iCubate currently has a talented group of people devoted to the company's continuing success. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of accomplishment in medical device sales, a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.

Position Summary:

The position reports to the CEO and has responsibility for sales of the iCubate System and portfolio of products. The successful candidate will coordinate all facets of sales, business development and marketing. Sales efforts will be to target clinical laboratories and research laboratories in the United States and international markets.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Three years experience in sales or business development in the medical device and/or molecular diagnostic industry

  • Bachelors Degree in business-related area and/or scientific area preferred

  • Experience in in-vitro diagnostics industry preferred

  • Ability to work in a growing company with team objectives

  • Capability for strategic planning coupled with tactical execution

 

  • Available to travel in U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish new and cultivate existing leads for iCubate products

  • Sell the iCubate products

  • Manage Customer Relationship Management system as it relates to customer and other business

    opportunities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategic marketing and sales plans

  • Execute marketing plans using print materials, web and social media

  • Lead prospective customer meetings in person and remotely using online presentation

    applications

  • Represent the company at various trade shows and client conferences

  • Craft proposals to secure non-dilutive/government revenue sources

  • Generate sales and revenue forecasts

  • Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends

  • Maintain partner and/or customer relationships as critical first point of contact for the company

  • Coordinate with other company members to successfully deliver and service products for customers

  • Travel to customer sites for sales calls, demonstration of products and customer service duties

  • Other duties as assigned
