About iCubate:

iCubate ( is a molecular diagnostic company with a novel armPCR technology and integrated platform for automated sample preparation, amplification and detection for infectious disease diagnostics and research applications. iCubate is a resident associate company of the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology.

iCubate is seeking an Manufacturing Technician with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, currently in the process of pursuing a degree in Engineering or with/pursuing an Associates Degree in Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.

Position Summary:

The selected candidate must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment as an assembler and/or test
engineer running automated and/or manual test equipment. The selected candidate will work closely with
hardware engineers, regulatory and compliance personnel, and biologists to produce FDA qualified products
for domestic and international sales.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in mechanical/electrical engineering field.
  • Detail-oriented individual with an eye for precision and high quality.
  • Experience assembing products by hand and with manufacturing tools.
  • Able to follow written assembly instructions, follow test procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Able to work within a Quality Assurance system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is required
